I am at work by 7.15am and normally finish around 6.30pm plus I do all my marking on Sundays. Long days but no complaints from me as I get 13 weeks holiday a year :)

Those Chair Luzzers certainly get decent perks!

:)

Some days it's quiet and I don't get a lot done, other days it's a 14 hour non stop rush to make sure everything is completed in time. It changes every day and every week. It's great!

Like many others it depends on what happens during the shift. I deal with routine calls and queries all shift, so constantly on the watch, but when the service starts to degrade because of an incident I could work straight through the shift without a break.

After yesterday's video extravaganza, I had you down for the bottom option.

Pretty much like every other nurse in the country - "Every minute of the working day including breaks, and evenings - without extra pay" and credit.

Starting to think I should have had an office job somewhere.

Preston Rock Garden
Since the legendry "Jack straw" has become my manager, i have not had a lunch break, cup of tea or any breaks at all. I work outside my normal hours for nothing and it is a pleasure to do it.

Anyone who wishes to see the fruits of my labour should come and have a walk round the rock garden in Preston park where i'd happily give you a guided tour.

Now Graeme, about that pay rise !!!!!

I have it very easy, which is odd as to listen to my colleagues you'd think the world would cave in, if anything upset the job.

We are all a bunch of shirkers - now there's a surprise.

Everyone should take their breaks. It's people who don't take their breaks that make other people feel they can't take theirs.

Squeeze in the occasional work as some recipients may testify, but I make sure the work is done.
I work for a Government Agency, it's secret so I can't divulge.
