I know some people are raving on about Fozzy and Murray being outstanding today (which they were). But for me Thomson had a great match.

He looks so comfortable on the ball, and he is a very tidy player as well.

The best thing about him is that he is very understated with what he does. He just keeps it simple and it works.

I think he is gonna be a real gem of a player for us, a great signing!

I thought Thomson was MoM. Everything goes through him, he shouts, gets the whole team working and can play a bit too. Next years captain ?

People said that about Hammond. But me and others just didn't have the same point of view!

But Thomson is very visible, and VOCAL and he gets noticed.

Great performance from him today :)

The trouble with Hammond was that by reputation he bossed the game - uietly and efficiently. But often he was just invisible.

If Thomson can do this consistently then he'll be a diamond.

Sorry I should probably say that he is very understated with the way he uses the ball etc.

But not understated in the sense of his HUGE gob! lol

I think he's great

Thomson ? :clap2:

Certainly obvious why he was Falkirk captain.

Early days, but looks like he could be a great buy.

Surprised Wilkins hasn,t been praised on this board tonight. Considering all the comings and goings this week, I think he did fantastically well, to organise and motivate his team.

I think it would stick in the throat of various people. Good job rallying the troops and it seems that they are happier as a bunch than they did before. Perhaps, this latest transfer window mayhem was just what they needed. Out with the old and in with the new.

How did he get on with El-Abd today? I would have thought El-Abd playing the holding role would have freed Thomson up quite a bit.

el-Abd (future BHA Captain) was getting more of the ball in the midfield, and looked very comfortable even under pressure. With players on both sides of the pitch exacting their authorities on the game, and on the opposition, this means only good things for Brighton - our players now, would all do well to try their hardest to stay aboard, as it's their REAL way to success.

We will soon be laughing pretty bloody hard at the likes of Savage and O'callaghan, for getting it totally WRONG about the way to get somewhere, and get something out of this profession. Out of recognition for Hammond and Revell, perhaps just a shrug and an "oh well" is kinder on them.

Thought Thomson was MOTM by a long way.
