Without doubt BZ would be a vast improvement on what we currently have!

Bath, Somerset.
Albion legend, for sure...but that was 12 years ago; and he is now 34.

In other words, I can't get quite as excited by this possibility as other posters are. It wouldn't be the same as before; 'don't go back', because the second time is rarely half as good as the first - Micky Adams!

George Best would be a vast improvement on what we currently have!
Watney's Best would be a vast improvement on what we currently have!

He's a Brighton legend, and deservedly so.

BUT, in my honest opinion, if we want top 6, i really don't think he's got it in him to get the goals required. In his last Championship season he scored 4 goals, and was injured for half of it.

Given that he's 34 and likes the physio's table these days I think I would have to stop short of excitement. I'd be very happy to see the return of a club legend and cautiously optimistic though.

We need to be using our resources more on finding another Zamora or Ulloa not reminiscing!

Went with meh. Not for anything against him, but if you take away the Zamora name and look at it objectively would anyone be excited about a striker with his recent record either in premier league or championship? Throw in the expectation on him because of his name and I think it would end in tears.
Not going to lie though if it happened I'd be smiling!

Somewhere between delighted and meh, more delighted as it means we have someone in, if he was the only striker signed I would be more towards the "what the hell do the club think they are doing?!" camp.
