When I'm sitting at home looking forward to watching Brighton play on TV, it doesn't matter to me if it's Burnley, Saints, Liverpool or Palace. Same routine, wife goes upstairs and hides from the game, I pace around the room or exercise in front of the big screen and, if I'm lucky, shout Goooooal when we score. Mrs Earle gallops down the stairs to watch the replay of the goal. Then I start pacing again. She goes back upstairs. Every opponent the same, so that's why I voted Meh:albion2:

Snap, I am looking forward to the game a lot more than I was before the Liverpool result.

As others have alluded too, we are due to give someone a tonking, I just hope it is them....

To go above them on Monday night would be a delight in any manor to be honest.

All of this.

I love/dread these games in equal measure.
Of course it won't be the same as being there, but it still matters more than any other game.

Palace have been ahead of us on the pitch for pretty much the last 40 years.

I've not felt this confident of beating them since we got the draw away in the play offs and was planning where to sit at Wembley.

I'm fully expecting this game to fit the BHA V Palace script

So no , cant get excited as been here before alot

With Kevin Friend as the ref, I would normally be really pissed off but he reffed us against Leeds and Liverpool. Let's hope he has a hat trick of good games for us.

I thought that. There are similarities.

Huge consequences. Domination of previous fixture. We're in terrific form, they aren't

I hope that is where the similarity ends

He also refereed the away game at Newcastle. He already has his hat-trick.

I'm looking forward to the game, but absolutely NOT 'excited' about it yet, because ****ing MONDAY night, seems SO very far in the future.

OK I can just about forgive him (and get over) his disgustingly biased performance when he gave Liverpool EVERY decision and a Salah dive game winning penalty at the Amex a few years ago

If you exclude the Gillingham/Withdean years - the years where we’ve not had the infrastructure to compete, we’ve spent a fair chunk of the time in the same divisions.

We’re also marginally in front in terms of head-to-head.

That said, this game reeks of a spawny Palace win.
