Still Somewhere in Sussex!
Actually quite happy it's a later kick-off.

Fitting in a morning date and a evening date, with a spot of football in between!

Hopefully a cracker of a day with a positive result on all counts! :O

I think the last thing you want from a date is a " positive " result !!!

handy for me

my wife is a bit under the weather and our usual mid morning start might come a bit early for her. A later start means waiting until midday to see how she is and still time to pick up one of the grandkids if she can't make it.

We have a family 90th Birthday in Eastbourne, it would have been tight but at 3pm k.o we could have gone to the game. With it at 5.20 we have to miss it, the flipside of that is we can watch it in a pub in Eastbourne.

I read this that your relative is having their 90th televised for you to watch in an Eastbourne pub after you attend the match, which I thought very decent of them!

I had already bought advanced train tickets before they moved it. So I'll be sticking to my 8:30am departure and enjoy the extra 2 hours drinking in Brighton beforehand. *hic*

Having to buy a later train ticket back to Bristol, and then an extra £30 taxi from Bristol to home (due to being too late to get back out to the sticks) will only be acceptable if we win. Otherwise I'll be having a moan at Paul Barber.

First Blackburn then THIS...

BARBER OUT.

It gives Jnr a couple of hours longer to make a recovery from his lurgy.
It's seeming decidedly unlikely the Stat's will be able to go.

I'm currently weighing up New Years Day outings, options, and Ipswich is looming large.

Means I have to forgo my post-match beers at the ground and leg it reasonably sharpish after the game as I'm going to The Rocky Horror Show tomorrow at 8.30
