I'm not going but I predict.....
Utter chaos at the new catering outlets, no students, at least a 20 minute wait for anything.
On the pitch we'll lose 3-1 (March) but overall do 'OK'.
I'm just praying for no injuries.
Game is the final turning up of the notch in the pre-season training, and a true test of readiness for Man City next week. Won't be reading too much into the score, or even the performance. Atletico Madrid are a class act and a planet above most of the run-of-the-mill donkeys we'll meet in the Prem. Not sure it'll teach us very much to be honest. The near-sellout crowd will be largely there to watch the near-GODS of the Albion's opposition, rather than the Albion. Much like half a dozen of the Prem games at the Amex this season really.
I think we'll draw one all, struggle to keep possession and be hanging on a bit at the end. I predict plenty of bed wetting and general moaning about catering, atmosphere etc. Hopefully no injuries.
I think we will a good account of ourselves but can't see us scoring.
It's more of an exercise in getting up to the intensity levels needed for the following week and thereafter. A chance for the newbies to experience playing for new club and at the Amex.
