I have not said that. You seem to think that more than me. Especially if you think the message has been clear enough - what are the other options?

I think we need a clear and sustained message. Advertising works. People make their own judgements but we all want the facts and the thinking behind what we are being asked set out. And we want to know it applies to everyone. Do I think Johnson is doing this ? No. And the questions on here and the images from the weekend tend to support that. Of course the message is changing - and I am sure it's not easy - but we can surely expect better.

What more do they have to NOT DO before you tories accept that it isn't a case of point scoring? No PPE for the medical teams risking their lives. Not enough testing, tracing and tracking despite being told 2 or 3 weeks ago it was a key weapon in this fight.

You don't seem to have a very high opinion of your fellow citizens. The people going out are just people who have made their own judgements based on the information they have been given. I am not sure people realise how bad it can get - I am not sure I quite believe it. If you are not receiving clear instruction people have greater scope in making their own range of judgements. Governments have the capacity to give clear instruction.

What exactly do you mean by “approved”? Most, if not all, commercial labs will have the accreditation to demonstrate they are operating at the required ethical and technical standards for medical laboratories. Otherwise no one will use them, or be able to use them, if they can’t receive validated results.
