Definitely Noogar but I prefer Nugget...nicknamed our mate Nugget 4/5 decades ago because of his love for it, still sticks with him.

Typical Yanks! A buoy is pronounced "boy" here and throughout the world yet they insist on calling it a "booee". Route as in the famous song "Route 66" according our cousins is now a "rout" . . . . FFS!!

As I rule of thumb, if there's 2 ways of pronouncing a word, listen to how an American pronounces it and assume it's the other one. This works with most words.
