Well no but am I missing the point here?

I thought the idea was you stick GBP in exchange it to whatever currency getting their decent rates and then spend money in the local currency therefore not encountering the fees your bank/card provider charges?

I guess you could do it that way but I dont!

I transfer GBP in and then spend wherever I am in World either by debit card or by using the ATM to get local currency but never converting to the local currency in Revolut account just take whatever spot rate is at time. I also use it to pay for items online in foreign currency when other cards and Paypal will charge foreign currency fee and stitch you up on the rate!

Only time I use the non GBP accounts are if I want to receive money in a foreign currency or vice versa sent it to someone e.g I pay my rent in Thailand direct to landlord bank account in Thai Baht or also have had USD sent to casino in Vegas, takes couple days of so but bit of forward planning always works!

I love it, the app is amazing and you can set up so many security features as well as track what you spend instantly and it even alerts you immediately when you make a transaction. The rates are bang on spot pretty much and fluctuate constantly. Customer service is also pretty amazing as I have had to contact them a couple of times and problems sorted quickly via their messenger system.
