Drive to Gatwick. Steal vehicle parked in field. Leave stolen vehicle near Falmer and walk to Amex. Train to Gatwick.

Car sometimes - parking in the uni or Bennett's Field, depending on whether I'm bringing my mother or not. Train sometimes.

Last few home games I've been to I've parked at uni, used park and ride, got train or got the bus. Much prefer getting the train as means can have a few pints and enjoy the atmosphere or expectation in the crowds on the way up there. However it all depends on what else is going on and where I need to be afterwards.

Godalming
Winter time I drive from Godalming to Shoreham then train it. Pain in the arse and a 2 hour door to door at least. Summer or good weather I jump on the motorbike, 1 hour from mine to the coach park, lovely.

I've been known to take a Taxi when the trains do not arrive. Even been known to cycle from Shoreham (but it's a rotten journey).

Probably working!
It depends, sometimes train, sonetimes lift from Wifey, sometimes P&R (racecourse or Mill road). Once taxi in fact it was Uber.
But for some reason you have not made this an option.
