Not sure about the argument about resting... its basically only one game a week now, something this squad should and seems to be able to cope with.

Where did you have in mind? I’ll have to cancel the milk.

At the moment a trip overseas is probably the Isle of Wight, which is nice.

I'd love a couple of weeks somewhere warm right now, but that pesky Covid has put the kibosh on that, sadly.

I feel like I need a rest from the Premier League rollercoaster.

Following Brighton has been stressful during lockdown. It will do us all good to take a break and have something to look forward to returning to.

I never enjoy an International break.

Club over Country all the time.

That changes when teams enter the Premier League.

It's a selfish struggle really, and a little hypocritical. I confess to feeling it too.

But I still hold country first. We don't have an issue when England do well. And, importantly, our players feel the honour of it.

So many people pretend to hate England - till the tournaments come round.

Do you not watch the World Cup or Euros ?

I might watch England. When I was younger I was really into the major events, but the last few years has completely turned me off international football.

I don’t agree with breaking up the domestic season so FIFA/UEFA can make money. If they played matches on a Wednesday like 70s and 80s, it might be better, alternatively set a month aside at the end of the season.

If they had anything about them the Euro’s and Nations league would be cancelled due to COVID.

It's a bit of all three options kudos for the club when players are called to represent their Countries, it definitely breaks momentum but also gives injuries time to heal while the extra international games are an injury risks in themselves

Are these just another set of meaningless friendlies?

Pretty much this.

I don't think folk realise how much it means to the players to get this recognition.

They don't get paid (well, they do but give it away), they just want the shirt and to keep it.

Was it the bit where we made the world cup semi final that really turned you off?

Based on where we are and how the season is panning out, how are you feeling about there being no domestic game for two weeks while the international break happens?
Gives SockBoy an extra week to be fit for the big game v Fulham.
