How do we improve our squad for PL?

Interesting point is that the 25 man squad gets re-nominated at the end of January.

So, for example, we could send Murphy out on a half season loan while Skalak is in the pre-January squad, and then if Skalak doesn't take his chance, give Murphy a go in the later 25 man squad.

This could also make some players, say Baldock or Hemed, vulnerable to being replaced in the squad in January if they struggle to make an impact.

Looking online, there is no limit on the amount of U21's that can be used and any amount of goalkeepers can be named but if we lose some to injury we cannot add over 21's in their place so would either have to use an U21 or obtain an emergency loan.

What we need are some youngsters who offer competition in all areas

I think with Baldock it's going to have more to do with how often he is going to be injured this season rather than wondering if he will be good enough imo. I expect him to make the final squad no problem.
