Sanchez- shocking distribution, panicked playing out from the back, however made a couple of good saves

Cucurella- Mitoma had the beating of him first half and he looked beaten - came out second half a different player - was up for it and probably had one of his best performances as a Chelsea player

Caicedo- didn’t even realise he was playing until well into the first half - Looked half the player he was with us - Baleba won the battle IMO

Cucurella probably had his first decent game in a Chelsea shirt. Annoyingly. f***ing prick.

Sanchez made a couple of regulation saves but his passing was absolutely dire. If the chances he presented us had fallen to Ferguson, or even Welbz, he would've cost them at least two goals. Prick.

Caicedo did loads of diving and whinging in the first half and very little in the second. Wanker.

Thought Mitoma had Cucu on toast and even Joao caused him all sorts of problems. Didn’t notice Caceido on the pitch, and Sanchez was dreadful. What a shame we didn’t score from his mistake.

Robert Sanchez looked like a player trying too hard to convince his old boss that he was a good player with the ball at his feet - it was never going to work out. But some fine saves and kept a clean sheet, can't ask for much more than that. Well done him.

Cucu put in a hell of a shift, I'd be pleased if i was a Chelsea fan. On the wrong side against Mitoma and Fati, arguably two of the best left-sided attackers in the world, was never going to be easy. Did well.

Caicedo, don't really see the point of him in a side that doesn't dominate possession. The simple winning and recycling of the ball was his greatest asset, a bit lost in this chelsea side.

Sanchez - showed why we let him go tbh. Dreadful with ball at feet. Saves were decent enough nothing spectacular and in all honesty we should have scored at least 2/3 with clinical finishing.
Cucu - all over shop for 45 mins Mitoma had him on toast. Saved some face with a better second half but offered nothing going forward.
Caicedo - was a passenger doesn’t look comfortable yet in there midfield. Sure it will come in time.
Overall we were by far the better side even with all the changes.

Colwill, not a reject, but actually quite poor, lots of aimless clearances. Playing the Chelsea way really doesn’t suit him.

The only frustration of last night is how overwhelmingly average Chelsea were, provided nothing other than a couple of long balls, then scored an iffy possible offside goal, and more than likely should’ve been down to 10. Caicedo provides nothing to that team, a complete waste. Sanchez other than a couple of routine stops that were straight at him, was abysmal.

Thought Cucurella was so poor in the first half and only a brilliant second half would have got him an overall 7/10. He “improved” only because we took Mitoma off and generally faded, and Chelsea’s dark arts came into play. I would score him 6/10 overall.

I came away thinking that there is no way we will finish below them in the league. We left several of our best players out of the starting XI (Dunk, Groß, Ferguson and so on) and yet on another day, we are two up at half time and playing ten men.

We were comfortably the better side at half time but deserved nothing from the game in the second half.

As to the point of this thread, all of our former players looked worse players at Chelsea. Cucurella looked good second half but if that's the best you can say about any of them, it's not much to write home about.
