Every time I see the title of the now closed, squabble about moderators, I confuse it with all things bowling shoe and Ben Shermany. It strikes me that its one area of music that I've not seen a thread about on here. Yes there are loads of great Jam and Who songs, but the original mod's musical taste spread far and wide into some fantastic soul, blues and jazz stuff even before they started forming bands themselves. There was also some really good stuff connected with the revival. So, let's have your favourite mod related tunes.
