Brighton factually.....
Did it hurt?

I pulled out of mine in 2001 as we were going to Shrewsbury the next day.

The anesthetic was just like a pin prick :lolol: pain level = a wince.
Since then its tender and the pain is a dull pain funnily enough around the groin area, it is bearable.
The actual operation, nope nothing, I could not feel a thing, it was a non scalpel operation, I could here the fizzle as he burnt the ends of tubes and smell the burning and hear the cries of my sperm being burnt alive. Apart from that, nah it was fine, over in twenty minutes.

With it looking increasingly likely that fans won't be returning any time soon, the club are rightly (IMO) being prudent.
The club will stick to their policy of not overpaying for players. The market still seems to be oddly inflated, so I can't see any of our targets coming off.

Plenty of media comments from the club regarding, Gyokeres/Andone and of improving goals scored from existing squad, to indicate the club will settle with what we have.
If Gyokeres shows any sign of being decent on Thursday night, I expect him to be our third option until Andone is fit,

And now Brewster is going to Sheffield United. What the hell is the matter with our recruitment team.

We keep getting told to trust them as striker after striker that could do a job for us heads to our rivals.

They track record in the signing department is abysmal and I personally think it is a case of trying to be way to clever. A new forward could have made a difference against Chelsea, the way we were playing and could against Newcastle.

To be in a new season with one recognised first team striker backed up by a youngster who rarely scores is simply not good enough.

If what you say of right we will be relegated. What does that do for finances.

Maybe we just need to go further down the league's looking for a target or as others have suggested put Trossard upfront as our target man (all 5ft 6inches of him) in case of injury to Maupay?

Funny I thought being in the PL we would look to build year on year. After the initial lift of a couple of signings (costing a total of less then 1mill) it now looks like a big cost cutting exercise and one I'm beginning to feel could cost us our PL status.

Its obvious for all to see what our issues are and we are drip fed with info about Andone returning after Xmas? A player GP doesn't want, and who is recovering from a serious injury and Gyorkes a player that doesn't even have a squad number. It all seems very strange at the minute..

Think it has been a f k up to not get another in for the first game

It will cost us if we do but it could cost us more if we dont

Are you saying we will definitely be relegated if we don't sign a new third choice striker?
Or do you think we will be relegated if we don't sign a new first choice striker?

I disagree,

IMO the biggest 2 factors in teams being relegated is the quality of the defence and injuries.
we are strong in both depth of squad and defensive players.

When it comes to attacking players, Potter will perm 3 forwards from the players available.
Without signing anyone throughout this season are options are:

Maupay/Trossard/Connolly/Lallana/Gross/McAllister/Jahanbaksh/Gyokeres/Andone

That's 8 players with experience of Premier League football and 1 newbie.
Sure I would like to add more options than that, but I don't think we are particularly weak there.
Certainly not odds on to be relegated.

I just want some proper RUMOURS. I know running a tight ship is the professional way to go about your transfer business but from a fan point of view it's so bloody boring. We feed off leaks but the club gives away nothing nowadays. All we get is the odd twitter mention that we're interested in a player, none of us have any clue if it's true or not but we still try to build a transfer narrative around these fragments of hope. Then when someone else signs the player that we have no idea if we were actually interested in we get twisted out of shape and assume we're failing.

Come on Uncle Tony give us some real meaty rumours!

I think we'll sign Solanke in the Janssen Hour of the extended Football League transfer window.

So, no... not confident at all.
