I did one the other day on some random website and got 129, but it was all just a con to get you to buy a report into your score.
The point of an IQ test is that the average is supposed to be 100, and anywhere over 130 is about 90th percentile. If this test was like one I did then it will boost your mark to make you interested in finding out more. I don't think that i've really got a mensa material IQ. A healthy helping of cynicism maybe.

I was sitting here quite pleased with my score (mentioned above) but then I thought, actually, why the hell did I spend the time in taking that stupid test! My IQ score means nothing, it will not get me a job, it will not make me a better person, it will not impress women, all it will do is make me a bit proud that I am 'more intelligent' than some people and obviously dissapointed that I am 'thicker' then other people. What is the point? I think IQ tests are very sad and I only did it to boost my ego. What a tosser I am!!

Did a Mensa test once and they came up with 153, 2% of the population or summat. Putting this amazing number to the test, I did mull over the intrinsic worth and meaning beneath the measurement of intelligence quotient, and I came to a conclusion.
It means sod-all. Mensa members (I went to one of their parties) are as dull and inclined toward one-upmanship as anyone out there. Personality was not at a maxim, in my view, and most of them were out of shape or scruffy (which didn't exactly indicate that they were mentally-smart either!).
Ability to reason swiftly in social circumstances, and retain a pleasurable tolerant overview will get one further in life than single-mindedness or having judgemental superior airs.
If you look back at when you were in school, were the better characters always found in the top stream?
Does i.q mean you will be happy, successful, respected ?
In the path through life, will i.q. get you nirvana, the rewards you desire and the perspective to fully apreciate them if you do attain them?
I'd say "no" to all the above. Ignorance often is bliss, and in singular personal perspectives, we really are all born equal to make of life what we can.
....or maybe I'm talking out of my arse, and it's all just about getting laid as much as possible. Yeah, that's it.
