They have been suspended indeed, but a few already seem to think I am blaming NSC, despite NO mention of it, or anyone that posts on here.

Hearing next week, but as for who does the commentry, tune in and find out, I will be at the game

Just people reading what they want to believe, not what I typed?? :)

YEAHHH....just wanted to start another fight.

What does 'people have got what they want' mean then?

As others have said, it's not some idiotic witch hunt or anything that's got them suspended, it's the guidelines of the BBC.

True - the idiotic withch hunt was on top of that, wasn't it.

Harty was well aware of the error of his comment. He apologised at the time. I doubt if anyone complained as a result of hearing the programme alone.

It was the aftermath on NSC that provoked the complaint. And the BBC have acted on the complaint that they received.

That will be the end of the phone in. And possibly the full live commentary.

Put much more eloquently that I could...

It would appear a person(S) from NSC made a direct complaint and has forced their hands, Shameful.

I am gutted... I absolutely loved the phone in, and living many miles from Brighton often relied on it to get the opinions of the fans that were actually at the match.

Hawesy is great because he doesn't support Brighton, therefore giving an honest and unbiased opinion.

Has this news actually been confirmed? If so, where?

Indeed, the end of the phone in, I don't care who takes over, they won't be able to produce a show like Harty, it'll just be full of yes yes yes dick dick dick martin martin martin and that for me will not be worth tuning in for, if it really is the end for Harty then here is one listener switching off right away, well done!

Have they been suspended , or is this another wind up ?
If they have, anyone got a link to the fact.

These are probably the same people that watch Little Britain and find the wheelchair sketches funny, bunch of f***ing hypocrites.

If we lose the fans phone in, and also the comm on top of this, how unfair on the decent people. What a blow for supporters.

If this is true then the BBC will have to replace the commentary team.

People have a finanancial contract with Seagulls World/BBC and this 'cannot' be broken. If they think they have had complaints about Harty, just let them remove the live Internet commentary if they want real aggro.

This is what I was thinking too - people who pay for seagulls world will be wanting a big fat refund.

Still, it won't be the same without Hawesy and Harty.
