Might as well go into Brighton if you want some nightlife.

however plenty of decent pubs around Hove, however I'm sure the Ale Drinkers on here will disagree.

Dunno about any live muisic, but I've always quite liked the Blind Busker, decent little booozer. And its opposite GFC, which is where (by law) EVERY night on the piss in Hove has to end up at. Waste of an evening otherwise.

GFC (GOOD f***ing CHICKEN) 0 stars i believe for the hygine front, still it tastes so good.

I would suggest the 'New' Freemason, the wick, lion and lobster, bees mouth, robin hood. if you are more sacville road way, try the ancient mariner, the stoneham, the exchange (no longer a builders pub, shame) or the slut and lettece if you fancy some rippers.

I always thought GFC stood for "Golden Fried Cat". Either way it's amazing and pisses all over the colonel.

Hove is quite a large area, you might want to be a bit more specific.

Never been out in Hove. Don't know where in Hove my mate lives so I can't really. Cheers for the advice though mate. Will try and remember some of the names when mooching around this evening. Chicken sounds good too.

You, my friend, are in luck. Hove literally goes SPASTIC on a Thursday. If you don't wake up knee deep in midget strippers owing the local coke dealer near on a grand then you've failed.

I know you're being sarcastic, but that sort of hullaballoo actually goes down at Misty's literally every week.

If you're near the seafront, the Sussex is a decent boozer, just along opposite from the King Alfred.

John Byrne drinks in there sometimes. He bought me a beater in there once. Great bloke.

GFC the bones in the chicken are so soft you can eat them.

No need for thanks.

Cant go wrong with the Blind Busker or Hove Place if you just want a good boozer. If you want somewhere a bit more lively then Wick Inn or jump on a bus into Brighton.

Thats the Red Lion I think, but I have never darkened its door. Not through any sense of fear or forboding, I'm just a creature of habit, and the jungle drums are always beating for the Sussex when I'm around there.

GFC is just so delicious it should be illegal. In fact, it probably is.
