I thought trespass was a civil matter and you couldn’t be arrested for it?

I wonder what law they were arrested under
There's an old offence 'Being found on enclosed premises' still used pretty regularly by police in order to be able to arrest and get the person into custody. It's part of the Vagrancy Act 1824 and is often used if someone is found in or inside a properties boundaries but not apparently having done anything else or deemed to have crossed the threshold for an attempted offence of any kind.
