Graham Gouldman formed Wax with Andrew Gold. They were half decent. I saw them at the Dome.
No Hot in their title though.

And I’d consider him a quarter of 10cc.

Fun fact about 10cc. Every time they had a #1 (3 times) it was with a different singer...

There's a strong scene in Brighton at the mo, band such as Lime Garden, Hutch, Opus Kink, Ideal Living... - Listen here

Lead singer is from Hastings, other female guitarist is from Eastbourne (from memory) and drummer is definitely Shoreham born and raised.

I see they’re supporting Deep Vally in Europe. I will try and get along. As an aside, the missus once met Deep Vally and did some knitting with them …not your usual rock band story.

Ooooh, the old double crochet routine eh?. I've heard that one before.

Deep Vally are pretty good imo. Like their style of rock and tough for a couple of ladies to make it in the music world imo.
