Both depending in what it is going on.
I love custard and I like the yellow one, all this Madagascan vanilla white stuff is bollox.
Nothing wrong with Ambrosia even cold straight out of the tin.
Also Birds custard powder made with a mixture of milk and cream is superb.
Maybe we could do a sub thread of Blancmange ( awaits You Tube clip) Angel Delight and Instant Whip.

Both, all types.

In a trifle, on a pudding, in a doughnut, straight from the pot.

All good.

The creation of Birds Custard Powder is quite a romantic tale of a chemist's love for his wife, and of custard. She was allergic to eggs, driving him to create an egg free alternative, so that she too could enjoy enjoy custard on her deserts, he never intended to market it, until some dinner guests tried it and liked it. She was also intolerant to yeast, so he invented baking powder.

I am similarly romantic, and my wife is intolerant to football, so I bought her vibrator so she can go **** herself when I have the match on.
