Nine host towns have been announced for Euro 2016 in France - can you guess which ones have been chosen?

bordeaux's stadium was fantastic when i saw a ligue 1 game there last season - would definitely go back

Fair point! Bit of an epic fail on the thread title.

There's been quite a lot of controversy about some of the choices in France.

Saint-Etienne, one of the few historic French football towns, has been left off the list as has Toulouse which is one of the finest grounds.

Nancy has been included purely because it's where Platini is from and will end up with a ground which is far too big. Work hasn't even started on Nice and Lyon's new stadia.

Toulouse ground is OK but not that big (a mini old Wembley). Went there in '98 to see England in the World Cup. Unfortunately I was sitting in front of Neville Neville and his ugly son who didn't get selected for the squad.
