With both lads back in the squad today, surely they must start at Wrexham on Tuesday night to give them the game time they need to get to full match sharpness ?

Was very impressed with Hoskins today BTW, think of what he could achieve when fully up to match fitness / sharpness !!!

Can't see Vicente starting at Wrexham to be honest, not the best of pitches and with the greatest of respect to Wrexham one the most ideal of opponents.

More likely to get half an hour at Peterborough on Saturday should all go to plan.

I honestly think Gus will play virtually all the development squad. He is scared to death of adding to the injury/suspension list.

And the development squad really ought to be able to cope with this one.

Sorry got to disagree I think that Gus will bring back the spine of the team ie El Abd Bridcutt and either CMS or Hoskins up front and build the team around those three. If only to earn the money to pay the wages for 2 or 3 loans for the rest of the season.

Do behave! While I would love to see it, It's unlikely that Gus would persuade Vicente to even travel to Wales, let alone play on a gluepot of a pitch against a team from the Conference.

Can't see Vicente playing a part in the Wrexham game. I think we'll play a much stronger team this time. I'll go for

Brezovan

Calderon
Hall
El Abd
Vincelot

Sparrow
Bridcutt
Navarro
Buckley

Hoskins
Barnes

Subs: Ankergren, Sampayo, Dunk, Harley, Rodgers, CMS, Agdestein.

Vicente badly needs some game time no matter who the opposition is, and Tuesday would be a perfect opportunity - if he then got half hour at Peterborough he would probably be far more effective and sharper to be able to make a difference. Just my opinion mind.

So is Vicente too much of a superstar to warrant game time ?

Persuade? He plays for us and he will play for us in any game the club decides he will play in.

Hoskins wants to play and will benefit from the run out (post match interview today) but Vicente for 90 minutes on a lumpy non-league pitch (Wrexham fans' description) after a long spell out injured? I can't see it helping him or us. I reckon he will be a sub again with the plan to give him 30 minutes as it was today

I really don't get this, what is the point in paying the guys wages if every single week we are going to go, "Oh he's too good for THEM, they'll just kick him to pieces." Like seriously what is the point?

If Vicente refuses to play any game then just terminate his contract and get him a Taxi to Gatwick.

It was the scarlet pimpernel warming up today with the black wooly hat on wasn't it ?

Assuming this to be the case, did anyone else notice Poyet appearing to be having a chat with him about going on with about 10 minutes to go. Poyet seemed to be suggesting he get ready before he wagged a finger at Vicente and then shrugged his shoulders. Vicente remained seated throughout the exchange. Could well have been talking about something completely different. Probably something and nothing and just my over active imagination as a result of Poyet's recent statements and the feeling most of us have that Vicente doesn't appear to be too eager to play. To be fair, Poyet wasn't getting overheated and I'd imagine if Vicente had said he didn't want to come on Poyet would have got very animated. Just wondered if anyone else noticed it ?

My opinion counts for nothing but I think we will see no more than 5 regulars on Tuesday, it's just not important to gus.
