I wouldn't hold my breath if I was you....We know Barnes will be back in, Dobbie will be on bench and if Hoskins does keep his place and that's a big if. We won't be seeing Lualua and Buckley, one will be keeping his arse warm on the bench.

We all know Barnes will be back. Dobbie should be kept in the side to give him confidence and not be dropped as he'll be in the same situation as before whereas Barnes gets dropped but manages to still get game time in every match.

I may be wrong, but I think the rules of the game say that the player coming ON as a substitute cannot himself restart play. We saw this a couple games ago when Calderon came on and was not allowed to take the throw in to restart play. And I'm pretty certain you can't bring on a specialist penalty taker, for example, to take a pen.

This is why, even though it was a direct free kick for us yesterday, Bridders had to touch the ball to KLL, to smash it through the wall which was set 7 yards away!

Anyone know how bad it is....only listening to the radio he seemed to be substituted very quickly after being fouled ..there player being given a yellow...be a shame if he is out again...from what I've seen and heard he's working hard for the team and is a goal threat

wasn't injured at all was taken off so KLL could take free kick - had a really really good game

The first freekick KLL took squirmed through for CMS to shoot (and be deflected) wide. The second one a few mins later was the goal. It was 7 yards away though and I was shouting, we'll never score from there in a million yea....GOAL!!!

Dobbie doesn't deserve to start on sat. He's a quality player looked like he couldn't have given less of a shit, I watched him closely for quite a while and he never mustered more than a light jog. Barnes was much more effective and deserves his spot back until Dobbie does better than him.

Nope he sprinted up the touch line to get his shirt on...I thought Hoskins stayed down to give home time to get ready

Correct. I heard Gus whistle a second after the free kick was given, for Kaz to get ready asap.

From the time Gus notified the 4th official that he's going to make a substitution to Hoskins being, coincidentally, fouled, is quite a fair bit of time givne that the phase of play was a long one!

He'll be ok soon. And about the game: the same as against Wolves, Huddersfield, Bolton... Should have been an Albion victory. Great football! Come on Seagulls!!

Was told Dobbie looked like he couldn't give a shit on Saturday and that we actually improved immeasurably offensively and defensively when Barnes came on, this was all by a 'Barnes basher' so that tells you something. But anyway, hope Hoskins isn't injured again because he's just starting to get into gear I feel.

Dobbie did get frustrated when he hit the post, kicking said post afterwards, but we did look better when Barnes came on.
