To be fair here, some of you guys should probably look in the mirror before stepping out shirtless too.

Sunburnt man-breasts and shorts you bought in 1998 when you were four sizes smaller is not generally considered a good look.

Just flying the flag for equality

1995 to be precise :)

I can imagine the look on the Stanley Deason regulars faces whilst someone is legging it from a May Bug...

Not that I can blame them! Those running that is.

Has somebody glued a couple of thin biscuits to the front of that thing's body?

Fight !

Right for all you cockchafers out there who think these things are maybugs. Let's get this straight your insect of choice should have disappeared a month ago. This evil plague is Junebugs and if there are any still flying around tomorrow it is global warming I tell you.

As supporting evidence I offer the following from the London Borough of Bromley pest Control site
CockChafer (May Bug, June Bug)
The adults appear in April-May and fly, singly, particularly at dusk towards a feeding site!

Is that clear ??

Its THESE bastards you want to watch out for...

That, friends, is a HORSE fly. I got bitten by one a couple of years ago on my shin, and the following day the pain was so bad I couldn't even WALK. Swelled up like a bastard it did. If you see one of them, just RUN.

You baby. My wife's got horses and yes, there's loads about, I've got at least 5 bits at the moment but to say they debilitating, that sounds like someone who needs to take a sicky. You do not need to run because they are very slow and die with the slightest touch, not really a man fly!
