Not sure I would ever pay £26,000 for a watch even if I was a billionaire.

Sorry to see that. Hope they catch the thieves responsible.

He doesn’t wear a poppy though - so he is therefore automatically the worst person in the world and deserving of anything that befalls him..

its not just that though , he goes out of his way http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-much-he-should-leave-the-Premier-League.html Screenshot_20180103-192502.png

Seen the state of his tattoo?

He must really, really hate playing football in England with political convictions that strong. I'm sure the £50k a week he earns playing in a country he hates gives him no comfort at night. Ah well, at least he doesn't come across as a hypocrite.

He’d get on well with Shane Duffy.

Nah. They're nothing alike. I wasn't too happy with Duffy's comments about McGuinness but Duffy was perfectly happy to wear a poppy on his shirt. Duffy showed much more intelligence in rejecting the very narrow view of what hardline nationalists like McLean have of what the poppy represents.

I've got a lot of time for Shane Duffy, none at all for McLean.

No time for him either.

The poppy issue was unnecessary and provocative. Irish catholics died in WW1 too - and that is before you debate the merits of Republicanism in Derry.

His goading of opposition fans doesn’t help his case either.
