Nah, haven't watched Eastenders for at least 10 years it is far too depressing. I watch Corrie, it is absolute comedy genius. Last nights tripple-whammy was excellent viewing with amazing ham acting (witness Fred's reaction at finding out that his eastern beauty was in fact a stall holder at the local market), allowing just enough time between episodes to do the important things in life like cooking dinner, ironing a shirt for work today and surfing NSC...

Gareth, you are mad - soap acting is never anything other than absolutely diabolical. They seem to specialise in over-acting.

Watch "The Bureau" in (officially the 2nd greatest programme ever made) Chris Morris' The Day Today and you will see the greatest piss-take of soap acting ever committed to screen - you will never be able to watch a soap again without laughing "like a twat".
