Which one? Both are far far FAR better than the Stanmer Park imho.

The one by The Level..... are you sure ? have you been drinking !

Maybe there should be a vote to decide the worst pub... could be fun. 4 years ago I would have gone for The Geese but the pissed owners have moved on.

I'm starting to think it will not be long before there are some craft beer casualties. Whilst it's a boom area there is only so much dollar to go around yet every new venue is tacking "craft" onto the venture. I think the specialist places will survive but will all the others with broader fayre? My Brewery Tap, the first craft beer pub in Brighton, diversified; craft drinkers were put off by the San Miquel drinkers and the San Miquel drinkers were out off by the expensive beers. Net result was an empty pub.

Sure I saw somewhere that Brewery Tap is just about to reopen with a new food offering.

I will have a look at the Hop & Vine, knowing the the new owner, and the team he is taking up there.

It's a new venture, with a good team, and I wish them all well.

Finally made it there this evening . Good Ale, I had a couple of pints of Long Man Golden Tipple, to go with my Moules Marieneres, and my excellent home made burger. Mrs Twowheels and my sister also enjoyed their food. Good service , great ambience and a bill for £75 for the three of us . Certainly much better than a couple other previous incarnations
