It;s difficult to make eye contact though for a chat... plus, they are usually on the phone already as they drive...:p

You’re not wrong about the phone, I think some tradesmen think it’s compulsory to drive with the window open and shout into a mobile.

Do you remember when everyone was wearing padded checked shirts?

Oh yes, I wore one as a young teenager in the early 90's, fashionable at the time and great for winter fishing if it wasnt raining.

I'm 42 now and still wear hoodies. Got 4 of them, 1 for work and 3 casual ones..... the pub isn't that far away so wearing a coat is overkill but a hoodie fits the bill perfectly.

I only wear a coat if the weather is really crap. Also helps if driving to not wear a coat.
