I too am 49 and I wear mine with pride.
Okay it says SUSSEX CCC on the front and I DON'T wear it with the hood up!

I too only have my hood up when it's bloody freezing. Don't think age has got anything to do with it. Time the Albion did a black hoodie with a little Seagull logo!

Ive never owned a hoddie as i thought even in my 30's (many many years ago) i was too old for them.
anyone passed teen is too old for a hoodie, they are a teenage dress code and anyone older is just trying to cling onto youth.

Not true in my case, I suppose I have two things with hoods built into them one was given to me and is an extremely practical Cardigan type thing. The other I bought for wearing outside in the cold whether it be a chilly summer evening on the beach (England) or sitting at Withdean Bought it when 40 now 49. I wear whatever I feel comfortable in and never show half my underwear clad buttocks which apparently makes me a farty old duffer.
