He has come on and snapped up chances when defences are tiring having had us pound them for 70+ minutes. I do not think that his close ball control will be good enough to start the match when the defences are more alert.

Many years ago we got Martin Chivers in around the old transfer deadline day ,for our promotion push. Maybe an old head could be usefull again,just in case as insurance .

It depends how long Barnes is out for... If it is only a week or so then i deffinately think that Sandaza could cope and besides we would only miss wood for one game and also our top scorer for the reserves Adgestein is an exciting prospect. Don't forget we also have Noone who could start a couple of games. I really think we can cope without getting a loan signing.

Has Fran ever managed a full game for us yet? doesn't seem to play for the ressies neither.

Now being suggested that it could be 3 weeks or even longer. With the loan window closing on Thursday we dont have time to hang about ro see if Sandaza etc can do it so I think that Gus will act quickly and decide to bring soimebody in even as additional back up or as an alternative.
