It's a great song and the Velvet Underground were great. The only problem is that their back catalogue isn't exactly huge and you can get very familiar with all of their songs very quickly.

I worry sometimes that I'm overplaying them so I go through phases of not listening to any just so as it keeps them fresh

The bass line to WOTWS was played by Herbie Flowers (lives Ditchling way) I think he got paid about £100.00 for what is one of the most famous bass lines ever.
