Disappointing from Holloway who I really have lot of time for. I hope Craig gets to read that too and I look forward to seeing his response.

How does he respond? By scoring? That doesn't really change anything - not publicly.

CMS, the Albion, Peterborough United chairman (wotsisface - Darrah something, the bloke who looks like a Westlife tribute act reject), Barry Fry - they've all stated the move was not about money. Such clarity and lack of ambiguity is beyond the wit of the likes of Holloway and Allaryce, it would seem.

In reality, this swipe isn't about CMS' playing quality, it's a swipe against the Albion, and about Holloway getting his excuses in early - '...this is what happens when you've got money...' etc.

Absolutely. Always liked Holloway, and Gus has come out today with some really nice comments about him, so no reason for Ian to be a cock. I personally hope we give Holloway some stick for that, especially if CMS puts three past them tomorrow. Let's show them why he came to us.

Pretty much certain from what I heard that he was offered more to go to Leicester but just preferred our set-up and in particular Gus. If that is true then have to say looks a good choice by him.

Cms came to us for the money right ok, and what exactly has philips gone to Blackpool for, a bloody donkey ride? I'd guess philips is on a damn sight more than cms

No recognition that CMS may have chosen Brighton so he'd be the lynch-pin of an ambitious team on the up - rather that a bit part player amongst ex-premiership wash-ups at a club on the way down?

Disappointingly unrefreshing from holloway.

I think you'll find it will change things, especially if it's part of a deserved victory. I really expected better of Holloway, he does not appear to have take relegation well at all (not that he should have mind)

In the same interview he reckons we play 4-4-2 and have not changed our midfield for 2 or three games.

I kinda like Holloway but he does come accross as a techy knob alot of the time. Constantly moaning about wages, agents etc. It's getting a bit old hat now. Still will be a hard game for us tomorrow.

"Look at the teams who we're after him....and where did he end up? Brighton. So it ain't about how big you are it's about how much you pay them."
It's been asked already, but what's the source of this? Not seen this in any of his pre-match i/views so far.

He WAS offered more money elsewhere and he came to us for footballing reasons. We are a good side playing some great football and there is a Zeitgeist around Brighton at the moment. Why can't people see that? Are we that small a club?
