Thanks for posting the video clip. It’s great viewing, revealing Hughton’s modesty, pride, ambition, industry and ambassadorial skills from a man who generally steers clear of publicity. For me it simply reinforces the fact (as most fans feel) that he's the perfect choice as our manager and we are lucky to have him at the helm. Good to see Holloway’s open respect for Hughton's qualities and the Albion. Both of them emerge with full credit from the clip and, IMO, Holloway seems genuinely to show a lot of admiration for the Albion and what it’s achieved under Hughton. Decent blokes, both of them.
As for "poogate" Holloway only did what most managers would probably have done in order to gain media advantage and one can't really blame him for that given the prize at stake at the time....although I'm pretty sure that a man of Hughton's stature wouldn't have stooped so low. It takes all sorts.
