The Stanmer Park, known to cabbies as The Zoo. Always wondered why it's got such a bad rep' as it looks a nice pub in a good location.
Obviously a few toe-rags get in there & spoil it for everyone. No doubt a few "deals" going on in there too.

Just moved out of Hollingdean after 35 very happy years there.
My opinion, it really has gone down hill in recent years. A guy was beaten up in broad daylight on Friday outside the shops on the Crestway. I think the the poor chap has since died.
Add this to the punch up in the Stanmer which closed the pub for a while. I am now pleased I have moved away.

I'm on Ditchling Road near Downs Infant School, but I don't think I'm in Roundhill or Hollingdean.

I've always been curious to know how to describe my area, I always end up saying "erm, near that BP"

I call it "Ditchling Road". I've got friends who would call it "The Top End of Rugby Road" if they wanted to impress.

Yeah, Florence Road has got bigger houses, but more people seem to have heard of Rugby Road - probably because that's the address of Downs Junior School.

I'm in that neck of the woods, and I say I'm between Fiveways and Preston Park. Sounds dead posh that way.
