I am off to Madrid again next week to see the oddly-approving wife. Whilst there, we're off to this Electric Weekend thing down Getafe for an opening night of Rage Against the Machine, Serj Tankian and Queens of the Stone Age.
Someone told me everyone there will be utterly caked up for the event, but as handy and nosey as that would be, i am more concerned with having an afternoon nap before these old pluckers rock until about 4am.
The following day there are plans to hit a triple-bill of films of Edgar Allan Poe tales. Quite a cultural long weekend, i think. Finished off nicely with a visit to Al Fresco where i can eat all i want for 10 euros!
