We spent 9 days in the Sud Tirol (German speaking) region of Italy in August. Stunning in every way, definitely a holiday that'll be fondly remembered.
Outlook looks grim for the winter. I usually have a few days in Barca over Xmas and go snowboarding in the new year. Can’t see either of this happening at the moment.

How soon is now?
We were due to go to Lanzarote on Tuesday, but pulled it as we couldn't justify the follow up time off to self isolate upon return. And now it has the all clear(just in time for half term!!)...... We've opted for the Isle of Wight instead.
As it stands it's looks like there is more open on the IOW, than the Canaries anyway

France (for The Alps for example) is looking a ‘dead’ loss. CV19 metrics high, increasing restrictions, plus whatever your German state is doing to stop CV19 being brought in from France. Friends have ski holidays booked e.g. for Val Thorens and are assuming the worst.
We’re waiting to see what the UK and Austria situation will be. Currently on entering Austria you need to produce a genuine medical certificate for a negative test taken in the last 72 hours. With 14 days self isolation on returning to the UK.

Taffy was a Cardiff fan who trolled this board when we were in the lower leagues and he came out with this classic just prior to an Albion vs Cardiff game at Withdean, which from memory we won comfortably

Are the UKs borders seriously still open for people to come and go? I thought there was some kind of lockdown, just yesterday I read about a family being escorted out of a county as they'd driven 5 hours for a non-essential gathering?
