Photo 1 - lovely seeing the old Goldstone in 1965. We used to drive past the advertisement hoardings on the OSR on our way to/from holidays in Cornwall when I was very young (before I knew football existed). I hadn't realised that Sackville Trading Estate was once a railway yard.

Always wondered why the football club never combined with the Greyhound racing track post war like Bristol Rivers and others. The photo shows how much more room there was at the dog track site compared to the restricted size of the Goldstone site for development.
