Around 69/70 match day prices to the best of my recollection were

- Chicken Run: adult 5 bob, kids half-a-crown
- North Stand: adult 7/-, kids 4 shillings

Sir Norman Gall couldn't turn on a sixpence but he'd happily give you a fourpenny one. John Templeman had a head like a thrupenny bit and Alan Duffy didn't care tuppence. Not that either of the last two were worth a farthing (went out of circulation c.10 years earlier).

Not forgetting the ha'penny, florin, tanner and ten bob note.

First pint was The Western 1973 and cost 13p (or 2s 7d in old money). Watneys Red Barrel of course.
