Hinshelwood wants to sign

England Under-21 defender Adam Hinshelwood insists he is keen to stay at Brighton.

Hinshelwood's contract expires at the end of the season and has yet to sign the new deal he has been offered.

But the 21-year-old is confident the matter will soon be settled.

"My intention is to stay at Brighton," he said. "I am keen to sign. Things are going well, and I do not see why I should leave."

sounds great but why call him an Eng-U21 International if he has'nt played for them (yet)? Surely the first cap is when you properly become an International player, not when you're called into the squad and chucked on the subs bench with no hope of ever playing!

Or is it just journalist spiel to make the article stand out abit more?

Agreed. Basically we haven't missed DC. In no small part is this down to Hinsh stepping up to the challenge.

Get him signed (and Harding, Knight, Mcghee et al) and I will be a happy camper ...
