Long old slog for Hinsh, hopefully October he'll come back good as new. Cos he could CERTAINLY do a job. As the club obviously realise, by keeping faith in him all this time. With a bit of luck they'll be duly rewarded for that faith.

How much has the fact that M Hinshelwood works for the club influenced the decision to continue to wait over such a long period for a return to fitness do you reckon???

and the fact that a fully fit hinsh is a more saleable asset than any of our current crop of players.

We will gain some money if he is forced to retire from an insurance policy, won't we? I assume they realise that he is the most talented player at the club and would be a huge figure for us on the pitch if he is able to get fit. It is not impossible to put his injury problems behind him, although unlikely...maybe. Plus, unlike previous crocks (Rodger, Kitson, Blackwell), he is young and has time on his side. If there was any favouritism going on then I think we would have offered Paul Hinshelwood a contract.

It nice to see that Hinsh is still well thought of. As already stated i think that he has bags & bags of potential which we have only seen glimpses of because of his bad luck with Injuries. However a fit and injury free Hinsh is a massive asset to this club

According to the club his knee problem has been solved and shouldn't reoccur, but time will tell.

If he stays fit he will be a great player for us - a few years ago I asked Dean Wilkins who he thought had the most potential of all the kids he was working with at the time and he didn't hesitate - Hinshelwood.

i spoke to someone in the club who told me that the first time that hinsh went to america they f***ed up his knee even more and that they set him back a nother 6 months and i can't beleive that they sent him back there again ! hinsh is a great defender but the fact of the matter is he is the ledley king of league 1 and even if he comes back it will be a very slim chance that he will have a long stint in the side due to another injury i hope that i am wrong :albion2:
