What people are failing to realise is that we probably CAN'T recall Lynch EVEN IF WE WANTED TO. This does not make his alienation for Hawkins any less of a laughable piece of management on every imaginable level, it's just logistics.

why cant we recall him?

dont matter
He didn't look fully fit when I saw him play against Stevenage last week.
That is a big concern, considering he went there to regain match fitness. How many consecutive games did he have there?
I would very much doubt if he's back up to playing L1 standard YET

Not all loans have a recall clause. I can't see this loan having one. Bradley Johnson doesn't have one, Naylor suggested in the Argus that if Leeds really wanted him back we'd have to go along with it out of goodwill, but it's hard to see Forest being bullied by us.

sorry to be perdantic, but you dont actually know if that is the case?

I just assumed by your reply originally where you said " what you people dont seem to realise is...." that actually you were stating facts.

Its not really irrespective though, he refused to play for us earlier on in the season and I'd say it was fairly short odds that he would do the same again. .

I often see this banded around here as fact. Has at any point Adams said that Lynch refused to play for us or has Lynch ever said Albion can stick it up their arse? I may have missed it but I’ve seen neither.

Unless someone can show me otherwise, this is another one in the Adams pile of how not to man manage.

here:

The 20-year-old had been pencilled in for his first league start of the season immediately after the Seagulls’ draw at Yeovil, with Colin Hawkins Germany-bound for hernia surgery.

Lynch then followed up the written transfer demand he had rejected by the club last month by re-iterating his wish to leave.

Adams said: “I can only give the facts as they are. Last Saturday (September 13) I told Joel Lynch he was going to play against Walsall.

“I told him directly after the game (at Yeovil) ‘get yourself ready because Colin Hawkins is going to be having surgery and you’re going to play’.

“Then, on the Monday, he said he wasn’t in the right frame of mind so what can I do? I had to rule him out. I can’t pick somebody who is in the wrong frame of mind because that would be insulting to the rest of the players and the supporters.

No, but I'd bet my house on it.

so back in September 13th he was in the wrong frame of mind and it is now December, he has being playing in the Championship, so I would very much doubt he is still in the "wrong frame of mind".

We are in a desparate state of affairs now and we need him back

Of course, it is possible that a deal has been agreed (behind the scenes) between the clubs for a permanent move in January and therefore we are unable to recall him.

I can't think of any other reason that he is not back here yet, unless he has told the club to 'stick it'?

Lynch has harly been a regular in Forest's side anyway! Most Forest fans I've seen speak about him say he's good back up not a starter - and that for a side bottom of the League.
