It's on BBC Scotland yet it's not on any BBC1 region (including Scotland), which is a bit odd considering it's a Premier League club first team match. Programme starts at 5:25 which is too early for BBC Three and Four, and BBC2 has cricket on so maybe that's why it's not on terrestrial TV.

No, not on Freeview. Freeview only has the stations broadcast in the area. Sky, which is Freesat, broadcasts every TV station and every local BBC station. With satellite it knows where you are and your local BBC station becomes your channel 101. Look up channels 951 to 980.
