Barber is CEO and Deputy Chairman. RDZ should know that when he’s talking to PBOBE he is talking to the owners.

Pedro and Buonanotte man-marking the central midfielders when out of possession worked a treat, with Welbeck joining in when FB had to get across to Digne. Then, once Villa were getting edgy, Enciso’s arrival put a bit more emphasis on attack. Top stuff.

Very unusually, think he went straight down the tunnel at the end, guaranteed to provoke more questions, but pleased to see the players looking a bit more like their old (and young) selves.

No, because it's not my problem! It's not me that has to decide to pay him that much - and it's not my money either! If the people that run the club think what he brings to the club is worth the money the club pays him, I'm easy.
FWIW, I think PL wages are ridiculously and obscenely high, but that's a different issue than picking out one player's wages in relation to his team-mates.

Yes, but Lallana struggles to move these days so, unless a ball is passed straight at him, he can't adjust to bring it under control or, more usually, to even touch it.
I've got no problems with him staying another season, but would restrict his usage to the last 10 or 15 minutes to see a game out or try to unlock a defence (as he did brilliantly against Marseille at home).

I think he’s worse when he comes on.

Wolves away him and Dahoud played a lovely ten minute cameo, but since then when he’s come on, he’s been really poor. (Burnley away most recently).

I take your point re mobility, but if he isn’t warm or up to match pace, he struggles, so has to start (if he does play).
