This show was one of US TV's biggest hits last year and is starting tonight on BBC Two.

It's a kinda Lost meets X-Men plot. Very very good.

Yawn.

Another over-hyped American drama that we'll get one season of before Sky nab it providing it proves popular.

Why can't we make good British TV anymore, aside from documentaries?

Don't forget about the Top Gear special before hand, where they race each other from Canada to the North Pole or something

You've seen it have you ? Tell us what's wrong with it then.
It's American. Meaning it'll be overhyped bollocks without a proper ending that will drag on and on and on and on for about 9 series, 8 of which will end up on Sky. See Twin Peaks, Lost etc for details.

And Bluejuice, we can do QUALLA drama in this country. Life On Mars anyone?

I might give it a whirl, if Im back from the pub in time. And thanks for the Top Gear heads-up shaolinpunk, Sky+ will be duley set for that, dont think Ive seen that one.

OK Simster, I will allow that. Life on Mars was QUALITY entertainment, but it's so acclaimed precisely because there's nothing else British made that comes near it.

Mind you I've no interest in Lost/ER/The Sopranos etc anyway

its quality its nothing like that Lost shite, would advise everyone to watch and give it a couple of weeks to really get into it

Can't say about lost but sorry we've never had anything close to the other two for at least 20 years.
