We had points deducted that season, gave them a 12 point head start, scored an own goal for them in the first half, even let their centre forward through for a one on one in injury time...............and they still f***ed IT UP.

The only team that sent Hereford down that season was Hereford. I know it can't be fun marrying your sister, but I don't feel a huge amount of sympathy for those who are still bitter and twisted.

It would like me hating Norman Whiteside for crippling Chris Ramsey when we were leading in the 83 cup final, or loathing Neil Warnock for 1991.............

Not an ounce of "hate" in them. And I guess that goes for most Hereford fans.

:nono:

I think you will find they werev probably in shock!

Every Hereford fan I have met absolutley detests Brighton.

So all those neanderthals who ran on the pitch and tried to get at us after the game just wanted to shake our hands then.....and the hoolies who threw bottles and charged into the pub next to M&S in the high Street also were looking for a love in were they?

If you had a different experience, then I suppose that is because trouble making twats are attracted to each other like moths to a flame, lemmings to a cliff top or flies to shit...

I think you are missing the point- apparently they were 'attracted' to other 'trouble making twats'. Those peole who were in that pub must have deserved it, you see.

Don't worry, they hate us too, and we've never sent them down or anything- though we did come back up from the Conference the year they got loads more points than us but stiffed miserably in the play offs...

Witness "Tom Greene's" avatar.... They seem to hate people who couldn't care less about them.

High up on the South Downs.
I commiserated with a couple of Hereford fans after the game.

When we went back a year later for the cup tie there was a hostile atmosphere. Thought their hatred of us made them look small. Shrewsbury and Wrexham seem friendlier clubs.

What are you talking about?

One of many recollections I have of that day in 1997 is walking back towards Hereford station in conversation with a couple of very disappointed Hereford fans who simply wished us well for the future.

Not an ounce of "hate" in them. And I guess that goes for most Hereford fans.

Blimey old man, you obviously weren't in the car park after the game then? :nono:
