In the FA Vase final next Sunday.

Great set of fans with a unique ground. I'm sure within five to eight years they'll be back in the football league.

They might have done up the changing rooms, but the rest of the ground is exactly the same as it was in 1997.......except the corrigated iron roofs are now 19 years rustier. They won't care though, at least they still have a team to support.

None for the club itself who, bottom of the pile, wanted to control photos and images that day.

They took a very long time to get back to the Football league before..makes you wonder how we would have fared had the outcome that day in 1997 been different..

Hereford 3-1 down in the FA Vase final to Morpeth.

Superb support for the Bulls - 20,000 fans at Wembley despite the early kick-off at 12.15.

I don't wish them well at all. That could be because of the several hundred trying to take my head off after that game...

I don't wish them ill exactly either mind, but no great love or guilt over here.

There was a lot of trouble in the FA Cup tie the following season. One fan was almost knocked clean out with a single punch by the ticket office. Still can't believe that match was drawn out of the hat. These days it would be on TV (assuming Hereford were in the Conference and Brighton in League Two).

That ticket office must pack one hell of a punch !

The ''Tactics Board'' in that changing room intrigued me...........The goalie for the red team was he furthest forward. I am having a bet on 0-0 as no one seems to want to cross into the opposition half

Almost as it was on Wardy's debut in 76 too.

Next season they go into the FA Trophy.

With the money they've made today, it should set them up nicely for another promotion push after pissing the Midland League with 108 points!

They absolutely hate us. Very bitter over 97, and the perceived media love-in with BHA that season.

Oh well.
