ok so realistically we only have 6 free Tuesday and at prob 2 of them are already going to be needed (Hereford and MK Dons) doesnt leave us with much time to play with

So we need a slot for Peterbourough as well

So.....we've had about three inches of snow, but much of that has melted today. The snow shouldn't be a factor on Saturday BUT I can see waterlogging being a problem. I've no idea if Edgar Street is a quick draining pitch, but the local area is clay soil so it may be prone to waterlogging. Wait untill nearer Saturday I suppose.

If I get up at 5am to get an early train, fork out 38 squid, get half way there and find out it's off I do not know what I'll do.

I hope its not off as i'm looking forward to this one, especially now being the first (possibly) game for our 2 new players! hopeful of a decent win.

at least i only have to travel from Bristol, so it's not that far. still i dont want to waste an hour + drive!

Snow forecast for tomorrow morning in Hereford, then light snow flurries Thursday afternoon and Friday. Sunny on Saturday.

Indeed. What will perhaps be the icing on the game called off cake is the forecast for -5C on Friday night and 1C on Saturday, so even if they clear the pitch it'll problably freeze anyway.

Things can change though... this current 'weather event' is liable to changes even at short range, as it all hinges on the exact positioning of the low pressure system; hence the downgrade for snow down here following yesterday's warnings by the Met Office.

My guess would be that it will be called off; either by snow or ice.

Edit: Having been in meetings all morning, I've not checked the latest (6Z GFS) run.. and things have changed a little.

Thursday looks hideous there, with a lot of snow..

Friday looks cold with a little more snow, and no thaw.

http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/dayforecast.asp?zipcode=Hereford&day=3

And Saturday morning looks even colder... -6C, rising to 0C...

So, based upon this run it looks very unlikely to go ahead.
