If Martin Butler goes to Rotherham for £150k (rumour, not definite), then I imagine Pardew will want Henderson back, which in this scenario is not him being an arsehole... I imagine most of our fans would want him back bearing in mind we have no other strikers!!!

But I don't think Butler will go (£5k+ wages per week allegedly!), and therefore Henderson will stay for three months. Isn't there a rule that says you are only allowed to extend the loan for either 3 months or the whole season now though? Not sure what the rule is...

One of your local papers even seems to know about the Butler thing... in the article about Henderson extending his loan. Coppell and Pardew have obviously discussed the fact that Butler might be on his way.

Looks like if Butler goes, we'll be in for Kevin Lisbie from Charlton (who came here on loan before).

So Henderson may sign for an extra month no matter what the scenario at Reading.

To be honest whatever the situation I dont think reading really need Henderson. He's not even that good.

As Wilts says with Lisbie, there are plenty of other options for a club at the top end of the first div.
