Depressing day for the Albion - the day that sealed our relegation. Well done wendy.

I reckon that will knock another few hundred off out next home attendance.

Sorry Chez, couldn't disagree more.

KING KUIPERS IS BACK! And now yer gonna believe us.....
The defence is looking better than ever and still the pro-Wayne camp can't admit he was poorer than Michael. And that's why he's gone to become no.2 elsewhere, albeit it at a better club. Can't blame him for that but personally I think this is a positive result for the club on balance.

We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day
Keep smiling through, just like you always to do
Till the blue skies drive the dark clouds far away

So will you please say "Hello" to the folks that I know
Tell 'em I won't be long
they'll be happy to know that when you saw me go
I was singing this song

We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day.

I don't know if Chez was on a wind-up that comment, but if not it was a little silly. Henderson was not playing well, and that was why he was dropped. Unless Kuipers gets a career ending injury next week (in which case we'd probably be able to bring in an emergency on-loan keeper anyway I'd guess) it's hardly 'sealed our relegation.' Henderson is a decent keeper, with plenty of potential, but it does seem as if he wants to be guaranteed first team football here, and since he isn't, he has thrown his toys out of the pram and left. If he feels he has to do it to 'protect his international place' or whatever, then fair enough, but if he can't secure a place at a mid-table (at best) league 1 team, then I don't know how he's going to manage it in the league above. Best of luck to him. At least (surely) we will make a bit of profit on him!

He'll have the last laugh. Be playing in a league higher, decent stadium, etc. Bet he's well upset to be leavikng eh. Let's see how well we do over the next few months.

I'm well fecked off now. Michel 'Away Away' 'Slice it out for a throw' 'Slow the play down coz I take so long to release the ball' Kuipers back in goal, permanantly.

But hey-ho, so long as the rose-tinted Kuipers fans are happy, that's all that matters.

Interesting if this is actually true..

Championship side, fantastic ground about to have all 4th side redeveloped, average gates of around 15k, good manager, experienced squad, cheap housing......

Withdean, fans that hate him, international career to develop.....

I bet if this is true it must have taken him 27.43 nano seconds to agree to a move.

Best of luck Hendo.

Is that longer or shorter than it'll take Preston to realise that, for all his international caps, he's not actually that good?

Good luck to him. Good luck growing up, that is.

Sitting on their bench will be so much more prestigious than sitting on ours.

"fans that hate him"
The world doesn't begin and end at NSC you know. The majority of people just think he isn't as good as Kuipers or think he is better.

They don't hate him.

He has got a bit of stick re a couple of cock up's that is all. For what it is worth part & part of being an avarage goalkeeper.

It takes an exceptional professional footballer to actually have talent AND be content to play at the Withdean.

We seem to be unable to please any player between the age of 22 and under 30 - anyone else is just glad of a game.

I said over the summer we'd be better off raising some cash by selling and I cited Hendo as the prime candidate. Again, this move has come too late in the day, ditto the signing of Bagayoko.

I'm glad that the club have at least cottoned on to the fact players between 22-30 don't want to come here, because a lot of time has been wasted pursuing unrealistic targets.

wouldn't be surprised to find out that the move to preston was well in the 'pipeline' for a while - even perhaps before he was dropped and certainly before this latest transfer request was lodged.

At last....some realism.......Henderson,s agent would have been on the phone non-stop from the minute he was dropped.Have people forgotten already how long it took us to sign him in the first place because of his attitude and his agent.
Henderson;.....no loyalty, no bottle, no character.

If my club isn,t good enough for him....he,s not good enough for me.
